Security Advisory Group (SAG)

The role of the SAG is to provide advice to the Commission (as and when requested by the Commission) on the efficient, reliable and stable operation of the New Zealand electricity power system, including how the Commission may use reasonable endeavours to ensure security of supply.

The members of the Security Advisory Group are:

  • Chris Ewers (Meridian)
  • Chris Jewell (Mighty River Power)
  • Tim Chatterton (Vector)
  • Alan Hunt (Transpower)
  • Molly Melhuish (Domestic Energy Users' Network)
  • Terrance Currie (Major Electricity Users' Group)

 

Brian Bull, Senior Analyst, is the Commission's representative on the group.
