New advisory groups
The Commission has recently carried out a general review of its advisory groups. The review has now been completed, and the Commission has established four new advisory groups:
- Market Development Advisory Group (MDAG)
- Retail and Consumer Advisory Group (RCAG)
- Security Advisory Group (SAG)
- Investment Advisory Group (IAG)
A number of other changes have been made as a result of the review. A full explanation changes is provided in the explanatory paper pdf [75 KB].
The Commission will continue to utilise its Project Teams
Disestablished advisory groups
The Commission has utilised advisory groups to provide advice on sector development since its commencement. Information and papers relevant to now-disestablished advisory groups, including the previous advisory group Charter, is available below:

- Hedge Market Development Steering Group (disestablished)
- Retail Market (disestablished)
- Security (disestablished)
- Transmission (disestablished)
