Loss Factor Review Panel

The Commission has established the Loss Factor Review Panel (LFRP) to refine the ‘Guidelines on the calculation of loss factors and the use of loss factors for reconciliation purposes’. The scope of the LFRP will include addressing concerns of affected participants about loss factor methodologies and the promotion and use of a standard methodology for technical and non technical loss factor calculation.

Nominations for the LFRP were called for by 5 December 2008. In addition to a Commission representative, the Commission has appointed the following individuals to the LFRP:

• Andrew Smaill (Independent Chair)
• Lindsay McLennan (Expert member)
• Robin Pittwood (Expert member)
  

Minutes of all meetings will be published, but only once confirmed at a subsequent meeting.
