The Commission is seeking comments on the 2009 demand forecasts

In the consultation document the Commission refers to:

• Energy forecast input assumptions xls [60 KB]

• GXP prudent peak forecasts xls [1389 KB]
• National and regional MATLAB models and inputs zip [13688 KB]
• Regional Peak MATLAB models and inputs zip [14396 KB]

Comments must be received by the Commission by no later than 5pm on 29 January 2010.

The Commission’s preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word and/or pdf). Submissions in electronic format should be emailed with “Consultation document - 2009 Demand Forecasts” in the subject header to submissions@electricitycommission.govt.nz.

If submitters do not wish to send their submission electronically, they should post one hard copy of their submission to the address below.

Please note that late submissions may not be considered. The Commission will acknowledge receipt of all submissions electronically. Please contact Lisa DuFall if you do not receive electronic acknowledgement of your submission within two business days.

Your submission is likely to be made available to the general public on the Commission’s website. Submitters should indicate any documents attached, in support of the submission, in a covering letter and clearly indicate any information that is provided to the Commission on a confidential basis.  The Commission is subject to the Official Information Act 1982.  Therefore, if the Commission receives a request for information, including information in a submission, the Commission must consider the request in accordance with that Act.
