Advisory Group Review [Closing date: 2009/02/13 17:00:00 GMT+13]

The Electricity Commission invites feedback on the discussion paper “Advisory Group Review". The Commission has recently carried out a review of the structure of its advisory groups.  The Review has considered:

  • What advisory groups the Commission should have, and their role and purpose;
  • How the advisory groups could be more strongly linked into the planning cycle;
  • How the advisory groups should be chaired; and
  • What amendments, if any, are needed to the Commission’s ‘Charter on Advisory Groups’.

 

The closing date for submissions on the discussion paper is 5pm on 13 February 2009.

The Commission’s preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word). The electronic version should be emailed with “Advisory Group Review” in the subject header to submissions@electricitycommission.govt.nz. If submitters do not wish to send their submission electronically, they should post it in hard copy form to:

The Commission will acknowledge receipt of all submissions electronically. Please contact the Commission if you do not receive electronic acknowledgement of your submission within two business days of sending it.

Your submission is likely to be made available to the general public on the Commission’s website. Submitters should indicate any documents attached, in support of the submission, in a covering letter and clearly indicate any information that is provided to the Commission on a confidential basis. All information provided to the Commission is subject to the Official Information Act 1982.
