Publication of EGR Committee Minutes [Closing date: 2009/11/13 17:00:00 GMT+13]

The Commission is seeking participants’ views on a proposal to publish the minutes of the Electricity Governance Rules Committee’s meetings.  It has been suggested that publishing the minutes of the EGR Committee’s meetings would be desirable to provide greater transparency about the EGR Committee’s decisions and operations, and to improve participants’ understanding of the reasoning behind the Committee’s decisions and to assist participants in clarifying how the Committee is interpreting the Rules.

This paper outlines the proposal to publish the EGR Committee’s minutes, and seeks feedback on that proposal.

Submissions are due by 5 pm 13 November 2009.  The preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word). Please only send hard copies of submissions if it is not possible to do so electronically. Submissions in electronic form should be emailed to submissions@electricitycommission.govt.nz with “Publication of EGR Committee Minutes - Consultation Paper” in the subject line. 

If submitters do not wish to send their submission electronically, they should post one hard copy of their submission to the address provided below.
