The Electricity Commission is considering changes to the Electricity Governance Rules relating to the routine testing of assets and invites submissions from interested parties.

The Commission, having considered issues raised by submitters in the first round of consultation conducted earlier this year, is of the view that revisions are necessary to the wording of the proposed rule amendments. The purpose of this paper is to:

  • provide background to the proposed revisions to the wording of the proposed rule amendments; and
  • recommend a revised set of rule amendments for routine testing of assets.

Submissions are sought on the paper by 5 pm on 8 February 2008. Comments should preferably be sent by e-mail, in Word format, to:
