Rulings Panel Procedures [Closing date: 2009/05/01 16:00:00 GMT+12]
The Rulings Panel (Panel) may regulate its own procedures. The current version of the Rulings Panel Procedures came into effect in 2005. The Panel has recently revised its procedures to ensure they remain effective and to include provisions under the Electricity Governance (Connection of Distributed Generation) Regulations 2007 and the Electricity Governance (Security of Supply) Regulations 2008.
The Panel considers that the proposed revised procedures would benefit from industry comment. Accordingly the Commission is making the revised procedures available, on behalf of the Panel, for comment. The attached version of the revised procedures has been "red-lined" to show changes from the current version.
The closing date for submissions is 4pm on 1 May 2009.
The Commission’s preference is to receive submissions in electronic format (Microsoft Word). It is not necessary to send hard copies of submissions to the Commission, unless it is not possible to do so electronically. Submissions in electronic form should be emailed to submissions@electricitycommission.govt.nz with "Rulings Panel procedures" in the subject line.
If submitters do not wish to send their submission electronically, they should post one hard copy of their submission to the address below.

The Commission will acknowledge receipt of all submissions electronically. Please contact Bronwyn Christie if you do not receive electronic acknowledgement of your submission within two business days.

Submitters should clearly indicate any information that is provided to the Commission on a confidential basis.
