A Transmission Pricing Review has been initiated to undertake a wide-ranging review of options for the allocation methodology for transmission costs.
As part of the first stage of this review a consultation document on high-level options for transmission pricing has been published.

Submissions on the proposal are invited by 5pm on 7 December 2009.
The preference is to receive submissions in electronic
format (Microsoft Word). The electronic version should be emailed with "Consultation - Transmission pricing review: High-level options" in the subject header to submissions@electricitycommission.govt.nz. If submitters do not wish to send their submission electronically, they should post it in hard copy form to:
