The Electricity Commission said today it is reconsidering its consultation schedule for its draft decision on Transpower’s proposal to build a 400 kilovolt (kV) line between Whakamaru and Auckland. The consultation process was to have included oral submissions in Manukau and Hamilton on Thursday 1 and Friday 2 June. The oral hearings have now been deferred.
“The oral submissions may be rescheduled, once reconsideration of the consultation process has been completed,” Mr Hemmingway said.
