Industrial Sector Programme
The Commission’s industrial sector electricity efficiency programme focuses on motorized systems efficiency.
The KEMA potentials study identified economic potential from the industrial sector in the order of 1,955 GWh per annum (16.8% of annual industrial consumption excluding the aluminium smelter). Motorized systems were identified as providing 91% of that potential.
