Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Commerce Commission and Electricity Commission

The Commerce Commission and the Electricity Commission signed a revised Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 16 August 2007.  The MOU now incorporates a detailed operational protocol addressing the matters set out in the revised Government Policy Statement on Electricity Governance. The initial review of the MOU was completed in April 2007 and consulted on in May 2007.  Submissions were received from seven parties, including Transpower, and as a result the MOU was further revised.

Memorandum of Understanding between the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) and Electricity Commission

On 31 August 2005, EECA and the Commission signed a memorandum of understanding detailing working principles and arrangements between the parties to avoid duplication and waste.
