On 1 April 2004 the Electricity Commission took over most of the projects being managed under the auspices of the MARIA Governance Board. These projects have now been integrated into the retail workstream.
Retail market operations includes the reports, statistics, handouts and guidelines relating to parts D, E and part J of the Electricity Governance Rules. It also includes model contracts required by the Government Policy Statement, when these have been developed.
