Comments and alternatives

On 20 October 2006, Transpower New Zealand Limited submitted an amendment to the North Island Grid Upgrade Project that was submitted to the Electricity Commission as part of a Grid Upgrade Plan in September 2005. 
Opportunity for comment and requests to consider alternatives

The Commission provided designated transmission customers and parties affected by the proposal with an opportunity to:
  • provide written comments on Transpower’s proposal; and
  • request that the Commission consider alternatives to Transpower’s proposal. 
The comment period closed on Wednesday, 22 November 2006.
