Background
Public conference (May 2007)
On 31 January 2007, the Commission issued a notice of its intention to approve the Proposal in accordance with rule 15.1 of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (Rules). In accordance with rule 15.2, a number of persons requested that the Commission hold a public conference in relation to the Proposal. The purpose of a public conference is to provide interested persons with a final opportunity for comment on the Proposal. The Commission agreed to hold a public conference. The public conference was held in May.
Additional information received following public conference (June 2007)
During the public conference, a number of presenters indicated that they would provide further information relating to their oral submissions made at the conference. Information from the following parties was received:
