It is anticipated that the next Statement of Opportunities (SOO) will be published in July 2010, with a draft in May 2010. In preparation for it, the following work is underway:

• developing a new set of Grid Planning Assumptions (GPA); and
• reviewing the underlying demand forecast model.

A separate consultation on the actual demand forecasts will be carried out later this year.
