Background

On 6 May 2009, Transpower New Zealand Limited (Transpower) applied to the Electricity Commission to amend the approval costs of a number of Tactical Transmission Upgrade (TTU) projects approved by the Commission in December 2005.

Transpower is seeking approval under rule 16 of section III of part F of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (Rules)

Opportunity for comment

The Commission is provided designated transmission customers and parties affected by Transpower’s application an opportunity to provide written comments to assist the Commission in considering Transpower’s application.

Comments were sought by the Commission by 5.00 pm on Friday, 22 May 2009. The Commission received three comments.
