The new Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (Rules) on the disclosure of risk management contract information came into effect on Monday 2 February 2009. Any risk management contracts traded after 2 February 2009 which meet the requirements as set out in the new Rules will need to be disclosed. The new Rules are available on the rules and regulations page.

Information sheets
The Commission has prepared two information sheets on the disclosure of risk management contract information to outline its key features and how interested parties can make use of the system. One information sheet is an overview of the regime and the other is a more detailed description of the regime that includes examples of contract price calculations. The Commission has prepared updates of these information sheets as at 25 June 2009.

WITS functional specification
The functional specification within the WITS Service Provider agreement has been updated to reflect changes in the new Rules.
