Calendar of work

The Commission has updated the high level calendar of its work programme for the start of the 2008/09 financial year. 

The calendar is intended to:

• Provide a general outline of projects on the Commission's work programme with indicative information about each project or task’s duration;
• Assist industry planning, for example by indicating likely dates for upcoming consultation periods and planned workshops/conferences for projects where the information is currently available; and
• Provide participants with a list of Board and Advisory Group meeting dates. The 2008 Board meeting dates are confirmed, but the Advisory Group dates are still subject to minor changes.

The calendar provides this information in a visual summary format, and is therefore necessarily general. Timetables are subject to revision and update from time to time as more project information becomes available, for example, the results from consultation can sometimes lead to a project or task duration being extended.  The Commission will publish updates to the calendar on a regular basis.
